For a weekend trip to Vienna, we stayed in Hilton Vienna Park. We booked a room at hilton.com for 140 Euros/night. Being a Diamond member with HHonors we were automatically upgraded to an Executive Room at Check-in. A friendly request for a suite brought us into a 10th floor Park suite with approximately 80 square meters.
The hotel is a bit dated, which is reflected especially in very low ceilings and an absurdly small bathroom. But the hotel’s location is perfect for a weekend trip with walks through the city center. From the airport you can take the City Airport Train (CAT) or the local train (half the price, 5-10 minutes longer ride) which both stop directly at the hotel.
The Executive Lounge is quite small and was packed on Saturday evening. Their happy hour offerings include decent red, white and sparkeling Wine, some spirits and two hot food options.
Early at Breakfast we were the only Europeans in a pack of Asian travellers. There were some conferences going on in the hotel. We were greeted with a glass of orange juice at our table. In addition to the usual breakfast, they have an cooked-to-order omelette and pancake bar and an Asian corner with noodles and soup.
