Four Seasons Mumbai

During our 3 month stay in Delhi, we did a weekend trip to Mumbai. We booked the Four Seasons Mumbai for ~120 €, which must be the cheapest Four Seasons in the world. Having no status at all, we got upgraded to a Deluxe Room on the 30th floor, just by asking.

We didn’t get a sea view room, but Mumbai being a peninsula, you can see the sea on the other side.

Taking a bath here would have been great, but…

…we only got brown water most of the time and we were not up for a mud bath. We showed the video at reception and they sent some plumbers, but they didn’t have a long term fix.

We strolled through Mumbai the whole day and were relieved, that we could actually walk. In Delhi it’s always the car. In the afternoon we relaxed at the hotel pool.

The highlight came in the evening. The Four Seasons Mumbai has a rooftop bar “Aer”, which made it into multiple Top 10 lists. We went up to discover a long queue of people waiting. They took our room number and then magic happened. You remember our free upgrade? We were given VIP seating because of that. Behind a red rope…

Drinks and snacks were great especially paired with this great view. And you could finally escape the noise and the dirt of the streets.

We had some problems with the bathroom and the beds were way to soft for our liking, but we had a great weekend and could visit the stunning roof terrace.
